Women tell me things

Many of my photos are of vacant landscapes. Of calm spaces that feed the soul. After months of quiet Covid-19 despondency and confusion, I decided to change the focus for my residency at L’escaut. In this time of reintegration and introduction following the strangeness of the past 18 months I proposed meetups with strangers and new friends in the neighbourhood of Molenbeek, to capture verbal and visual records of women living or working in the area.

We began with a questionnaire, based loosely on the one that Proust took from elsewhere.
